This course series focuses on validating and expanding an individual’s business idea. Course topics include “Introduction to Entrepreneurship”, “Market Analysis”, “Business Plan Development”, “Financing Options”, “Human Resources & Insurance”, “Marketing Plans, Websites, & Social Media”, “Business Bookkeeping & Financial Statements”, and much more.
At the end of the 7-week course, graduating entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to work with our Business Development Specialist for assistance in launching their new business. Graduates are encouraged to attend quarterly roundtable workshops where entrepreneurs come together to share experiences and encourage one another along their journeys. In addition, ongoing workshops and seminars will be offered to graduates on a variety of pertinent subjects relating to small business ownership.
Graduates also have access to free or discounted business resources from participating partners. SBS@GCTC is invested in the long-term success of community entrepreneurs, and will continue to provide support services to participating individuals throughout the life of their business.
